I like to write. For quite some time I've kept a personal journal, and while there may be things in there which wouldn't be for general consumption, there's things like that here, too. Do I like to get feedback on what I write? Duh.
The person I snagged this from, I met via LJ. Nice benefit. Doesn't exactly answer the why LJ though. The previous paragraph does, and also the fact that I got tired of replying to real-world friends' LJ's via Anonymous. So like the person I snagged this from, I like the additional means to keep up with friends already known.
And that nice benefit part, well, I like making new friends, too. Yes, sometimes there are things that get written here which qualify as sob stories. Some stories are. Not all.
Oh, and I'm still stretching toward another venue to share photographs; I really like to make photographs. On that count, I will 'fess up to being an attention whore.
